Responsibilities
- Conduct meticulous field inspections and perform comprehensive testing to ensure compliance with stringent quality standards.
- Develop detailed Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs) and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and secure necessary approvals from relevant authorities.
- Oversee the effective implementation of approved QAPs and ITPs at the construction site, ensuring all activities align with established quality guidelines.
- Conduct technical and ISO audits to evaluate project performance, identify areas for improvement, and enhance quality processes.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) and approved QAPs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, ensuring its availability for audits and project completion requirements.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive field quality reports, capturing key observations, findings, and recommendations.
- Carry out various field inspections, including cross-checking survey points, witnessing field tests, conducting pre-pour inspections for concrete work, and overseeing pile and bridge load tests.
- Issue non-conformity reports and facilitate their appropriate resolution and disposal within specified timelines.
- Ensure the calibration of field measuring equipment, such as survey instruments and sensor pavers, in accordance with industry standards.
- Implement approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at the construction site, promoting consistency and efficiency in quality-related activities.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on a daily, weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis to relevant authorities, ensuring transparent communication and progress tracking.
- Provide support during external audits, including ISO certifications and other technical agency assessments, to showcase our commitment to quality excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required for candidates with a BE/B.Tech qualification, while candidates with a Diploma (Civil) must have a minimum of 8 years of experience.
