Salary & Benefits:
- Attractive Pay Scales: Successful candidates for Technical Officer-B positions in Bio-Medical Engineering can expect a Pay Level-10 of the Pay Matrix, ranging from Rs.56,100 to Rs.1,77,500. Technical Officer-C roles, spanning various engineering specializations, offer a Pay Level-11, with a scale of Rs.67,700 to Rs.2,08,700.
- Additional Allowances: In addition to the base pay, appointed candidates will receive usual allowances as admissible from time to time, ensuring a competitive and comprehensive compensation package.

Vacancies & Eligibility Criteria:
- Available Positions: The recruitment drive is seeking candidates for Technical Officer-B (Bio-Medical Engineering) and Technical Officer-C positions in various engineering streams, including Civil, Electrical, Computer/Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Programmer, and Mechanical/Mechatronics/Instrumentation Engineering.
- Eligibility Criteria: To qualify, candidates need a 2nd Class Bachelor’s degree in the relevant engineering discipline for Technical Officer-B roles, along with one year of working experience in equipment repair, maintenance, and technical installation. For Technical Officer-C roles, a First-Class Engineering Degree in the respective field is required, along with five years of relevant experience.
- Age Limit: The upper age limit is 35 years for Technical Officer-B and 45 years for Technical Officer-C posts, with relaxations applicable for reserved categories.

- Application Deadline: Interested candidates should submit their online applications on the official ICMR website by March 8, 2024, until 5:30 PM.

Mode of Recruitment:
- Online Application Process: Interested candidates must apply online through the official ICMR website, adhering to the guidelines provided in the recruitment notice. The application form will be available on the website until the specified deadline.
- Written Examination: Applicants who meet the minimum qualifying marks in the Computer-Based Test (CBT), set at 50%, will be shortlisted for the written examination. The examination will be conducted to assess candidates’ knowledge and aptitude in their respective fields.
- Interview Selection: Candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks in the written examination and meet the eligibility criteria based on their qualifications and experience will be called for the interview round. Approximately five times the number of vacancies will be shortlisted for the interview process.
- Final Selection: The final selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the written examination and interview, as well as their eligibility criteria. The selected candidates will be notified through the ICMR website and offered appointments accordingly.
Fee Structure:
- Application Fee: A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500/- is applicable for all candidates, except for SC/ST/Women/PwBD/Ex-servicemen candidates, who are exempted from the fee payment.
- Mode of Payment: Candidates can pay the application fee through the online payment gateway available on the application portal. Payment can be made using Debit/Credit Card or NetBanking facilities.
- No Fee Refund: Once the application fee is paid, it shall not be refunded under any circumstances, irrespective of the outcome of the recruitment process.

- Online Registration: Candidates should complete the online registration process by providing all mandatory details accurately. Once registered, candidates will receive an acknowledgment of successful registration on their registered email ID/mobile number.
- Application Form Submission: After successful registration, candidates can access the application form using their user ID and password. They must carefully fill out all sections of the application form, ensuring that all required documents are uploaded as per the instructions provided.
